Resourcing Executive

Working for HLR as a Resourcing Executive.

Typically, the day will start with a briefing or training session. Much of the training is short and very focused with a number of role-plays and real life scenarios to deal with. The sessions are extremely informative and fun. This morning we have looked at how to deal with counter offer scenarios.

I will then spend time going through my emails, checking for any messages from any candidates. I need to deal with these swiftly, especially if there are any queries. I have time to fit in a couple of headhunt calls, and then I am off upstairs to interview candidates. Interviews form a very important part of this role and we do try to see as many candidates as possible, at least 40 every month. Following this, I will review my activity with my Group Manager/Director. Time now to look through some CVs that I have found on the CV banks, before interviewing once again.

Where did the morning go? Time for lunch!

The afternoon kicks off with more candidate interviews and writing up notes and CVs. I then need to prepare for tomorrow's client visit with the Senior Account Manager.
